Candidates should not have any phobias (e.g., claustrophobia, acrophobia). Previous experience or knowledge related to fire and rescue is an advantage. Duties and Responsibilities As a Fire Fighter Intern, your duties will include: Responding to daily tasks and orders from the Station Officer. Regular attendance at the workplace. Testing and checking of fire vehicles and equipment. Cleaning and maintaining equipment and vehicles. Reporting any malfunctions to the officer on duty. Assisting senior personnel in combatting fires by responding to incidents. Adhering to command during fire incidents. Fighting grass, wildland, and structural fires. Protecting property from fires and safeguarding fire equipment. Performing control room duties when required. Undertaking other tasks assigned by supervisors.
