Purpose of the Job:

As a General Worker, you will play a crucial role in our organization by warmly welcoming visitors and efficiently managing the switchboard. You will represent Shoprite to staff, clients, customers, and stakeholders with professionalism and courtesy.

Job Objectives:

• 📞 Answer calls in a professional manner and route them appropriately.

• 🤝 Greet clients and visitors with a positive and helpful demeanor.

• ❓ Provide accurate information in person, over the phone, and via email.

• 🗓️ Assist in preparing meetings and responding to email inquiries.

• 📦 Manage stock and stationery ordering and maintenance.

• 🔒 Ensure all tasks are executed according to established procedures and standards.

• 💡 Propose and implement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the role.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 certificate (essential).

Experience:

• NO Experience Required

• Experience in a retail or FMCG environment (Advantage).

Knowledge and Skills:

• Energetic and vibrant, with a passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships at all levels.

• Capable of working under pressure and managing competing demands effectively.
