💼 Job Summary:

As a Service Consultant, you will be instrumental in providing clients with education and support on digital banking services. Your role encompasses cash transactions, cash management, device maintenance, and ensuring a positive client experience.


🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Address Client Concerns: Resolve queue flow and digital device issues.

  • Value-Added Services: Assist clients in purchasing pre-paid data and airtime.

  • Document Assistance: Aid clients in obtaining necessary documents from self-service zones.

  • Relationship Building: Maintain and strengthen client relationships by keeping them updated on their applications.

  • Education and Facilitation: Teach clients how to manage their accounts and use self-service functionalities.

  • Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify sales leads and refer them to relevant departments.


Business Operations:

  • Cash Transactions: Process cash transactions over the counter and manage cash fulfillment.

  • Branch Stock and Security: Balance and manage branch stock and queuing processes.

  • ATM and Device Management: Ensure device availability and perform basic maintenance.

  • Loss Prevention: Minimize losses through meticulous cash management.


Risk and Compliance:

  • Mitigate Risk: Follow cash management procedures to prevent fraud and losses.

  • Nedbank Goals: Act in the client’s interest and adhere to security and compliance policies.


🧑‍🎓 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential Qualifications: NQF Level Diploma (minimum).

  • Preferred Qualification: Higher Certificate in Banking Services (NQF5).

  • Experience: 1-2 years in retail/banking client service, cash handling, and problem resolution; experience with foreign transactions is advantageous.

  • Customer Service Principles: Strong understanding of client service excellence.
