Job Description
As a Registered Nurse at Intercare, your primary responsibilities will include:
Patient Care: Assisting the Medical Practitioner with pre-screening, treatment, and ongoing care of patients.
Emergency Response: Helping Medical Reception prioritize medical emergencies and ensuring a quick, effective response.
Stock Management: Actively managing medical supplies and maintaining the emergency trolley according to company policies.
Regulatory Compliance: Managing Schedule 5 and higher drug registers as per DoH regulations and ensuring the safe disposal of medical waste in line with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Branch Operations: Taking responsibility for the opening and closing of the facility.
Customer Service: Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively, escalating issues to the Practice Manager when necessary.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Education: Grade 12 and a Diploma/Degree in Nursing leading to registration as a Registered Nurse.
Registration: Current SANC registration as a Registered Nurse.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Working Hours
This role operates strictly during standard daytime hours, including weekends and public holidays. No night shifts are required.
