Main Purpose of the Job:
The Cook will be responsible for preparing food for daily kitchen production to ensure quality food service is provided.
Education and Experience Required:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Cook in a contract catering environment is essential.
Customer Service Experience: Essential.
Education: Matric is required.
Qualification: A Professional Cookery certificate is an advantage.
Additional Experience: Experience in a hotel environment will be advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
Knowledge of and compliance with food safety standards.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Able to contribute effectively to teamwork.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Preparation of food for daily kitchen production.
Provision of quality food service to clients and customers.
