Department Overview

The KZN Department of Social Development is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents and communities in KwaZulu-Natal. We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our Head Office team in Pietermaritzburg.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, your duties will include:

• Providing thorough cleaning services in the office of the MEC.

• Keeping and maintaining cleaning materials and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum qualification of Grade 10 or ABET Level 2.

• No prior experience is required.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

• Basic understanding of cleaning equipment operation.

• Familiarity with the Public Sector and Batho Pele principles.
