About the South African Library for the Blind
The SALB is a public entity under the National Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, dedicated to providing accessible reading materials and audio resources to visually impaired individuals across South Africa.
Primary Responsibilities
As an intern in the Technical Services Section, your tasks will include:
Player Repair & Maintenance: Assist with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of specialized audio players.
Technical Support: Provide basic technical assistance within the Technical Services Section.
Administrative Functions: Handle documentation, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks related to technical services.
Inventory Management: Assist in tracking, managing, and maintaining technical equipment and spare parts.
Health & Safety Compliance: Gain exposure to workplace safety protocols and help ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Remuneration
The annual Cost-to-Company (CTC) salary for this internship is R85,887. No relocation or accommodation benefits are included.
