Job Description
Are you someone who loves to keep things organized and visually appealing? As a Grocery Merchandiser, your main job is to make the shelves look inviting and filled with fresh groceries! You’ll also ensure that everything on display is of good quality and assist customers when needed. 🛒✨
What You’ll Do
Here's a glimpse of your daily tasks:
📦 Stock Management: Count and determine stock to be merchandised, unpack deliveries, and document what has been received.
🛍️ Display Organization: Arrange products attractively to draw customers in. Make sure all items are on display!
📊 Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of stock used and monitor stock levels regularly.
🎉 Creative Displays: Change displays to align with promotions or to highlight seasonal products. Use creative ideas to grab attention!
✅ Quality Control: Check the quality of products and ensure damaged items are reported and removed.
🧹 Store Maintenance: Keep your area clean and organized, including the storeroom.
🛒 Customer Interaction: Advise customers on products and handle any complaints or queries they may have.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Education: Matric (High School Diploma)
Experience: Previous experience as a Merchandiser is a plus.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English.
Location: Must live within 15km of the job.
Background: Clear criminal record.
