Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker - Assistant to assist our drivers with the loading and offloading of trucks. If you are a reliable individual with a passion for teamwork and safety, this role is for you!
Minimum Requirements:
Must be medically fit.
Reliable and responsible.
Ability to work safely and adhere to all safety requirements.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Clean criminal record.
Must have own reliable transport to and from work.
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
Physical stamina: must be able to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively during working hours.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their proper storage, and disposal methods.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-motivated, able to identify and complete necessary tasks without direct supervision.
Capable of following all reasonable instructions from a supervisor.
Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist truck drivers with loading and offloading.
Ensure outside walkways are clear and free of debris.
Notify building management of any repairs needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the entire premises.
Contribute to a clean and safe working environment.
Perform adhoc duties as required.
