Job Description:
As a General Assistant, your primary role will be to provide superior customer service while achieving optimum turnover through effective merchandise presentation. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional service in our store.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve daily, monthly, and weekly sales targets.
Protect all assets, including stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers, by implementing company policies and procedures.
Ensure effective merchandise replenishment and maintain excellent housekeeping within the store.
Support customer service initiatives and facilitate smooth operations within the sales floor and stockroom.
Follow correct administrative procedures regarding stock room markdowns and lay-byes.
Qualifications:
Education: Matric (Grade 12)
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Proven attention to detail and ability to handle stress.
Basic computer literacy skills.
High level of integrity and initiative.
