To be successful in this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Education: Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3, or Grade 12 without related work experience.

• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.

• Language Skills: Ability to communicate fluently in English and the dominant local language.

• ID: Valid South African ID or work permit.

• Numeracy Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.

• Flexibility: Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Pressure Handling: Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks efficiently.

👥 Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Advise and assist customers with product inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.

2. Merchandising Standards: Ensure bulk stock areas are merchandised according to store layout plans and safety standards.

3. Housekeeping: Keep your area free of obstacles and ensure that stock is merchandised promptly upon receiving.

4. Safety Compliance: Follow workplace safety standards, using the necessary safety gear, and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager.

5. Problem Solving: Identify problems, seek root causes, and make decisions within company policies to resolve issues.
