Job Description
Purpose:
To contribute to the sales success of Cape Union Mart by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining store standards during the festive season.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Exceed customer expectations by utilizing effective customer selling techniques.
Adhere to stock loss controls within the store.
Consistently meet individual sales targets.
Maximize and drive sales by identifying opportunities to increase turnover.
Maintain housekeeping standards and uphold visual merchandising guidelines to optimize sales.
Create an inspiring shopping environment for customers.
Behavioural Requirements:
Demonstrate honesty in handling cash and finances.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Exhibit innovation and adapt to change effectively.
Show adaptability in thinking and problem-solving.
Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: At least 6 months of retail experience.
Education: Matric or Equivalent.
Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal record.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of current clothing trends/outdoor lifestyle (specific to the brand applied for).
