Job Overview
The City of Tshwane is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our Customer Centre Operations as Call Centre Agents. This role involves handling face-to-face, telephonic, and email interactions with customers, ensuring excellent service delivery across all City of Tshwane services.

Requirements
Estimated Remuneration Package
Salary Scale: R335,844.00 – R466,452.00 per annum
Estimated Total Remuneration: R459,401.00 – R625,640.00 per annum
Application Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Grade 12
Experience: At least two years of relevant experience in customer care and call centre operations, specifically with call centre technology systems.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the City of Tshwane operations, including billing processes and a strong understanding of Batho Pele principles.
Background Check: Applicants must be prepared to undergo a criminal record check and allow their fingerprints to be taken by TMPD at their own cost.
Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of SAP CIC and CRM is advantageous.
Flexibility: Willingness to work at any of the regional customer care centres, including walk-in centres and call centres, based on operational needs.

Primary Functions
Identify and address customer needs by analyzing, processing, and coordinating information on service interruptions through requests or complaints.
Efficiently locate customer details within the system to resolve issues and provide consistent, high-quality service.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Manage and effectively resolve a variety of customer queries and complaints, participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Accurately capture and record customer requests and relevant information.
Meet performance standards set by the department.
